Bazadaise Genetics

Folkslee Bazadaise Stud owned by Rodney and Karen Johannesen, have relocated from Bundaberg to the Malarga district 55 klms south of Biggenden. They have purchased a 720 ha property at the foothills of the Burnett Range called “IRONIE” on which they can develop and expand their stud. A beautiful property with loads of potential to be turned into a well set out stud enterprise. Rodney & Karen are only the second owners of the property since selection so have a big development agenda in place. The property purchase will also allow them to pursue the introduction of their new Black Brangus Stud. They have chosen to expand into Brangus because of their natural hardy qualities but also they have proven to be an ideal cross with Bazadaise so each breed will complement each other.
